A soft breeze filled the air, the sound of running water and near by birds. Summer had arrived in Stormwind, The local people sat on the benches out side the local shops of the trade district eating meat from the bone and drinking all sorts of fine drinks, sharing stories and telling jokes (mostly orc related).
A blond haired woman sat on a wall, clad in armour with a hammer resting on the floor and a shield on her back, She sat deep in concentration cleaning blood from her armour. Every so often people on horses would ride by, but she had no interest in them. She sat for some time mumbling to her self.
“Fresh bread?” said a voice in front of her.
“Excuse me?” Still looking down cleaning still.
“Would you like any fresh bread?” Said a man holding a long loaf in his hand.
“Sure!” she said putting down her armour.
“Cornbread ok?... its a little moist mind!”
“That’s ok, Just the way I like it” she said with a smile.
“Free I hope!”
“Almost! Cheapest price in Stormwind!... 4 silver and 80 copper, but because business is slow today, we will call it an even 4 silver!”
“Good deal” she said while picking her armour up again.
“Kings honour friend!” He said as he walked away, asking another passer by “Would you like to buy some fresh bread?” The girl he asked was caught of guard, She said while tripping over her words “N... No thank you”
“Well if you change your mind... Thomas Miller is the name, Ask a guard about me” He said loudly, hoping others would hear “CHEAPEST PRICE IN STORMWIND!” he shouted, He then turned to see no-one paying attention.
The young woman continued walking slowly and looking in every direction, with a worried look on her face.
“Lost?” said the woman softly
“This is Stormwind?”
“It is”
“Then I am not lost... I’m just... This place is huge!”
“At first...But you will get more and more used to it as time goes on. First time in Stormwind?” Asked the woman, now leaning on her hammer.
“Yes, I’ve always wanted to come here, but never had time or permission.”
“Where are you from?”
“LakeShire” she quickly answered.
“Oh LakeShire, nice folk there, What brings you here?”
“My father gave me this” She said while holding a orange pendant up to eye level “To give to the king of Stormwind”
“Your going to visit the king?, Then I will come to, I need to speak with him” She explained while grabbing her bags and throwing them around her shoulder with her shield. “So, Daughter of LakeShire... What is your name?” She said while putting her armour back on
“erm... Seiobo” Seiobo said softly.
“Well ‘erm Seiobo’ My name is NadiaStorm... Welcome to Stormwind”
“Thank you... NadiaStorm.” Said Seiobo softly.
“One quick question before we go... Who’s blood is that?” Said Seiobo nervously
“Some Overgrown fish tried to ambush me... Murlocs to me and you, You must be careful of them... nasty things they are!” explained Nadia
When both woman were ready they set off to see the king...
After that Seiobo and NadiaStorm became good friends and are now fighting along side in the dark places of the world.
